Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art

Las Vegas' premier rotating exhibition space. 2,600 sq ft intimate two-room gallery at Bellagio Resort. Not an open-call venue, but a significant fine art institution in Las Vegas.

The Neon Museum

Outdoor museum preserving historic Las Vegas signs. Significant visual art and design institution. Hosts occasional special exhibitions and artist collaborations. Not an open-call visual art venue but an important cultural landmark and potential collaborator for site-specific work.

The Arts Factory

Features 200+ artists on the art walk, live painting demonstrations (curated by ISI Group and Recycled Propaganda), food trucks, live music, and local nonprofit presence. Expanded along Main Street to the Arts Factory and Art Square. Resident artist gallery inside Art Square, Suite 170. Managed by the First Friday Foundation.

Preview Thursday

Location: 18b Arts District (Arts Factory and Arts District galleries) Monthly event held the Thursday before First Friday. A more intimate gallery experience with artists present in their studios and galleries. Preferred by serious collectors and art lovers who want to meet artists without the larger First Friday crowds.

Market in the Alley

Regular vendor market in the Arts District alley. Features local artists and crafters selling original work. Often held in conjunction with First Friday and other Arts District events.

Chalk It Down! Festival (18b Arts District)

Rogers Art Loft

Closed: May 1, 2023 Was a major artist residency in downtown Las Vegas, housed at the Rogers Studio Gallery (620 South 7th St). Included housing at The Lucy, studio space, artist stipend ($750/month), per diem ($61/day), and Lyft credit. The Beverly Rogers Foundation continues to support the arts community through other means.

Metropolitan Gallery / Art Museum Las Vegas

Las Vegas Art Museum (LVAM)

Status: Closed (the former museum) Note: The old LVAM is separate from the new Las Vegas Museum of Art (LVMA) currently under development. The new LVMA is a new nonprofit organization (IRS 501(c)3) with a 2026 preview space opening and a 2028–2029 full building.

Contemporary Arts Center / Collective (CAC)

Status: Operational status unclear as of 2024–2025 Founded in the early 1990s at UNLV; historically operated at the Arts Factory. Las Vegas Museum of Art (LVMA) — Preview Gallery Opening Fall 2026

Address (preview gallery): 355 Promenade Place, Symphony Park, Downtown Las Vegas The LVMA Gallery and Media Lab (15,000 sq ft) opens Fall 2026 as a preview space with rotating exhibitions, art classes, and community programming, in advance of the full museum building (designed by Pritzker Prize winner Francis Kéré, partnered with LACMA) expected to open 2028–2029. A major development for the Las Vegas visual arts infrastructure.

Third Street Arts Campus — Downtown Las Vegas

In development — a $7 million, 41,500 sq ft arts campus in the former Downtown Cinemas complex on Third Street. Plans include multiple performance venues, studio spaces, film facilities, and arts education programming in partnership with CSN. Expected to open in phases between 2026 and 2028.
