Bark + Dragonfly Wing

A photographic collage by Annie Bates-Winship that floods the surface of the natural world with pure chromatic intensity. Tree bark and dragonfly wing meet in a single frame, the wing's dark veins slicing across bands of cobalt, vermillion, acid lime and deep violet in a composition full of kinetic energy. The layering produces a depth that rewards extended looking: wing veins become rivers, bark becomes landscape, and the whole composition pulses with hidden life.
