Canyon de Chelly

John Beuttler's abstract composition tears across the picture plane with slashing diagonals, fiery bursts of burnt sienna and orange, and a charged teal ground that hums with tension. Nothing here is passive. Every mark is intentional, every line a declaration. Beuttler's MFA pedigree and years of location painting across the US Southwest fuel every inch of this piece. You can feel the desert heat in those orange surges, the angular tension of canyon walls in the fractured geometry, and the wild, untamed energy of open landscape compressed into a single dynamic frame. This is not decoration — it is experience rendered visible. For the discerning collector, works like this represent exactly the kind of fearless, mature abstraction that holds its value and commands a room. Acquiring this piece means owning a singular statement from one of Marin's most compelling working artists.
