Mt Lemon Flower

This is John Beuttler at his most kinetic — a radiating burst of pastel and charcoal that explodes outward from the canvas with raw, unrestrained energy. Every scratched line and layered tone crackles with movement, making this a piece that commands a wall rather than merely occupying one. This is not a decorative piece; it is a collector's statement. Works of this gestural immediacy and biographical depth rarely come available, and this one belongs in a serious collection of contemporary American watercolor and mixed-media drawing.
