Wanted

Somewhere between a saloon and a spaghetti western, Kat's take on the "wanted poster" swaps the usual gunslinger for a wide-eyed, wild-maned black cat, ten-gallon hat pulled low and a smoldering pipe clenched in its teeth. A red bandana knotted at the throat completes the look, while loose, electric streaks of green, coral, and cobalt crackle across the background like a held breath before the showdown. The brushwork here is looser and more gestural than her softer portrait work — fast, confident strokes that let the character's attitude do the talking.
