Before you understand what you're seeing, you feel it—a rush of green like the first day warm enough to leave the windows open. The painting holds the chaos of a garden table after a summer lunch: glasses half-empty, fruit bowls tilted, flowers losing petals into the afternoon heat. There is something deeply familiar here, though nothing resolves into certainty.
