Bunnies Gone Wild

It started the way most of Rocky's best work does — not with a plan, but with a mark. A single looping line on a white canvas, and suddenly a rabbit appeared. Then another. Then a whole restless warren, tumbling and crowding toward the surface as if they'd been waiting inside the canvas all along, just needing someone willing enough to let them out. The central figure is the one that holds you. Wide eyes framed in flickering neon pink, a gaze that is simultaneously innocent and knowing — the kind of look a child gives you when they've figured out something the adults haven't said out loud yet. Around it, siblings and shadows jostle for space, their forms built from overlapping loops and scratched lines that feel more like memory than observation. A yellow sun peeks from the corner like a secret the painting almost kept to itself.
