Rocky Asbury didn't set out to paint robots. He set out to paint feeling — and somewhere between the black canvas and the oil stick lines, a small army of colorful, wide-eyed machines showed up and demanded to be heard. That's how Rocky works. He trusts the process, lets the unexpected breathe, and follows the energy wherever it leads. 'The Robots Are CoMiNG' was born from that same restless, joyful instinct — a meditation on a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, filtered through the eyes of an artist who couldn't be more human. Each robot carries its own personality — the grinning red one flashing a gear-toothed smile, the teal one tumbling forward mid-stride, the yellow one standing tall with a spiky crown of blue, the little pink one peeking in from the bottom like it's not quite sure it belongs yet. They're funny and a little unsettling, charming and chaotic all at once. Much like the world Rocky sees when he steps outside in Las Vegas — full of color, contradiction, and life hiding in plain sight.
