La Passeggiata

Oil on canvas by San Anselmo painter Shanna Bruschi, featuring two abstracted figures seen from behind, walking together through an expansive cerulean and sky-blue field. Vivid amber-orange and chartreuse-yellow accents down the left edge and upper corner provide a warm chromatic counterpoint to the dominant cool blues. The figures are rendered in deep indigo, their forms softly dissolving into the painted ground. Mood is intimate, contemplative, and quietly powerful.
