Lost horizons II

Acrylic on plexiglass and reclaimed wood by painter Shanna Bruschi, presented on a warm redwood display ledge. Passages of brighter aqua and muted sea-green emerge across the upper register, suggesting light diffusing through water. The mood is contemplative and quietly powerful — a colour-field abstraction that references the Northern California coastal landscape without depicting it directly. No figurative elements; the subject is pure atmosphere, depth, and the material presence of oil paint.
