The composition moves from a cool steel-grey upper register — animated by looping red and blue line work — through a mid-ground of abstracted blue-grey forms into a lower zone of deep navy black punctuated by warm mustard gold and white. Non-representational in subject, the work suggests interior landscape, memory, and place without describing any specific scene. Mood is simultaneously contemplative and energizing — complex, densely layered, and visually dynamic.
