Peach Rose in Full Bloom

Peach Rose in Full Bloom celebrates a flower at its most generous. The rose opens in a spiral of peach, coral and soft pink, its outer petals curling back with pale, almost creamy edges, while dark green leaves and a deep shadowed background make the blossom glow. Tim Burns photographs flowers in natural light, without staging, and lets the moment decide. His sculptor's training shows in how he reads form: the spiral at the center draws the eye inward, and each petal has weight and curve, catching light along its rim. A second, paler bloom softly blurred in the background adds depth and warmth. From his Flowers series, this is a romantic and joyful image, full of the summer-garden feeling many people love. Printed behind acrylic glass, the peach tones become radiant and the dark background turns velvety. It is a lovely piece for a bedroom, dining room or a gift for someone who loves gardens, warm and inviting on any wall.
